Review:

Why did this book make me feel like a retard for not knowing what a “grifter” is? LOL! I’ve never heard that word in my life. After it was used multiple I had to look it up. Really? Ugh. If you’re retarded like me…here is the definition.

The point of that…the main character is a GRIFTER!

Anyways…this book was a decent listen. Even though I KNOW this is part of a trilogy and I know it SEEMS like a lot happened in this book, I feel like not enough happened, if that makes sense. This book left me thinking, what was the point of this book. There was a weird ending, of course. I’d like to know what happens to these characters BUT I don’t think there was enough happening in this book for me to warrant reading the rest. I hear the books are good, but this one just left me NOT wanting to continue.

Hell…I can’t even tell you what genre this book is. Romance…meh…not really. Erotica…hell no…definitely no….far from that! I can only tell you yes there is sex, yes there is action, yes there are tense moments, yes its set in contemporary times….that’s all I got for you. :-/

Kind of sucks because I do like Karina’s writing style. I just need to stick with her contemporary romances.
