The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey went off like a bomb when it was released last year! If you haven’t read this book then you’re missing out…. SERIOUSLY! Go get it! To celebrate its sequel, The Infinite Sea, I thought I’d do something a little fun and share with you what I’d pack in my survival rucksack.
I’ve watched my fair share of apocalyptic TV shows, watched Bear Grylls and read enough books to know that it’s all about equipping yourself with the right gear and forgetting about the pleasantries, it’s survival of the fittest, and you’re not going to survive the apocalypse with a photo album and mascara wand!
I found some really cool gadgets that would be excellent in a survival situation, including this, a wind up battery charger… I could charge my iPhone on this, to read some books while sat round the campfire!
Fans of the game Black Op’s will know what this is! This is the Ray Gun Mark 2! Yes, call me crazy but I’m all about the weapons and blowing stuff up LOL!
How about this for a tent! It’s completely solar powered!
