The #1 New York Times bestselling author of Wait for You and Be with Me returns with a daring tale that pushes boundaries . . . in which a young woman learns that you can't run from your past—no matter how far you goAt twenty-one, Calla hasn't done a lot of things. She's never been kissed, never seen the ocean, never gone to an amusement park. But growing up, she witnessed some things no child ever should. She still carries the physical and emotional scars of living with a strung-out mother, Mona—secrets she keeps from everyone, including her close circle of college friends. But the safe cocoon Calla has carefully built is shattered when she discovers her mom has stolen her college money and run up a huge credit card debt in her name. Now Calla has to go back to the small town she thought she'd left behind and clean up her mom's mess again. Of course, when she arrives at her mother's bar, Mona is nowhere to be found. Instead, six feet of hotness named Jackson James is pouring drinks and keeping the place humming.Sexy and intense, Jax is in Calla's business from the moment they meet, giving her a job and helping her search for Mona. And the way he looks at her makes it clear he wants to get horizontal . . . and maybe something more. Before Calla can let him get close, though, she's got to deal with the pain of the past—and some very bad guys out to mess her up if she doesn't give them her mom.

Review:

J Lynn is turning into a master storyteller, is there anything she can’t do? She writes New Adult brilliantly, however I gotta say this wasn’t my favourite in this series, but I still really enjoyed it and I would absolutely recommend it to fans of New Adult and those who are just coming to the New Adult genre.
Stay With Me is the third book is Jennifer’s Wait For You series, these books feature a couple that have been in previous books but have their own unique story and can be read as a standalone. I like that about this series, it’s nice to be able to pick up a book and read it, finish it and move on to the next, but the Wait For You series has the added bonus of a more deeper character connection, as they’ve popped up previously, you have more of a feel for them and you look forward to their story.
Stay With Me is Calla and Jax’s story. Calla has a wreck of a mother, she is finally coming to the end of college and is looking forward to a career in nursing. She has done pretty well up for herself and now it’s  her time to shine, only it falls through when her mother robs of her every penny and took her identity. Calla has no where to turn except  back home and into the arms of Jax.
Jax is gorgeous! He is a bartender, what is it about bartenders? am I the only one to think that all bartenders are sex on a stick? Image may be NSFW.

;-)
Jax is pretty clued up about Calla’s dodgy mother and he agrees to help Calla find her.
Now, Jax is gorgeous, super freakin HOT! He is true alpha, with a sweet side and is very protective of Calla, I loved him! but not as much as Cam, sorry Jax! and that’s why Stay with Me isn’t as good as Cam’s book, Wait for You. Don’t get me wrong, Jax is a fabulous character, well fleshed out and I did care for him, but he just wasn’t as flirty-cheeky as Cam.
Calla, I liked her character, and I liked the connection between her and Jax, I loved how he bought her out of her shell and showed her to love herself, despite her past. There are a lot of intense moments between these two characters and they are so well written, Jennifer’s writing is addictive and she wrote the scenes between Jax and Calla beautifully. Calla has never been, what she would call boyfriend material, and so she struggles to see what Jax see’s in her and she bats him off and ignores it, there’s a lot of push and pull between them, and  it’s very endearing. At times I did get a little annoyed with Calla, especially with her insecurity but Jax soon made up for that!
Overall I really enjoyed Stay with Me, although they aren’t my favourite couple in J Lynn’s world, they are a wonderful pair together, I loved their sensual moments and despite all the turmoil that Calla was going through, their relationship seemed more realistic and was made to last.
Roxie, is a side character that works with Jax, I very intrigued by what will come of her, and I’m looking forward to Fall With Me, the next book in the series.
